Construction Coordinator (Restoration)

The Construction Restoration Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between construction crews, restoration contractors, and municipal inspectors to ensure hard surface restoration is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with city requirements. This role is critical to maintaining production schedules while delivering a high-quality finished product to the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily with city inspectors, construction foremen, and restoration vendors to ensure restoration work is assigned, scheduled, and completed in a timely manner.
• Conduct field inspections with municipal inspectors to identify and define restoration requirements, including white-lining restoration limits and documenting work areas.
• Track restoration quantities using KMZ files, PDFs, GIS mapping, and other project documentation to ensure accurate scope and billing.
• Capture, organize, and maintain before-and-after photo documentation for all restoration activities.
• Obtain, document, and track final city restoration approvals and ensure all required closeout documentation is completed.
• Monitor construction progress daily to proactively coordinate restoration activities as individual build segments are completed, supporting objective of completing hard surface restoration concurrently with construction.
• Maintain close communication with construction crews to understand changing work locations, production schedules, and restoration priorities.
• Identify potential restoration issues early and work collaboratively with field teams, vendors, and municipalities to resolve them efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on construction experience is required, with telecommunications construction experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of municipal restoration standards, hard surface restoration practices, and right-of-way requirements.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans, KMZ files, GIS mapping, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple restoration activities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with city inspectors, contractors, and internal construction teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
