Telecom Lead Field / Tower Foreman
Core Role: Perform physical cabinet consolidation, hybrid relocation, and heavy -48V power distribution, grounding, and cable management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform physical cabinet consolidation, including the relocation of BBUs, Hybrid Cables, GPS components and SPDs from legacy cabinets into Ericsson cabinets on live site locations.
- Install conduit for DC Power and fiber into the Ericsson cabinet. H-Frame installation and Junction Box installation when needed.
- Execute DC power upgrade, rectifier installations & wiring, breaker installation and grounding compliant with T-Mobile IQS; DCDU installation, SDP wiring to breaker terminal, hybrid power cable termination.
- Direct fiber/coax routing, weatherproofing, labeling, and cable tray management across alpha, beta, and gamma sectors.
- Manage site safety, tailgate meetings, JSA/JHA documentation, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols during live power cutovers.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Tower/Field Foreman on T-Mobile / MNO projects.
- Deep expertise in telecom DC power systems load planning, voltage matching across battery strings, LVD settings).
- Prefer OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and LOTO certifications.
- Proven track record in T-Mobile Installation Quality Standards (IQS) and pre-closeout photo audits.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
