POSITION OVERVIEW:
Waverly-Shell Rock Community School District seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Literacy and Social Studies Teacher to join our middle school team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging literacy and social studies instruction
- Collaborate with grade-level and content team members
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of 5th and 6th-grade students
- Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Assess student work, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and administration
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional learning communities
- Support the school's mission of growing, learning, and leading
