Waverly Heights is currently seeking a Full Time Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to join our team. Waverly's Therapeutic Recreation Specialists play a crucial role in the compassionate care by enhancing the well-being of our residents. - assisting Director of Therapeutic Recreation in planning recreational activities and special events
- representing the Therapeutic Recreation department at Interdisciplinary Care Conferences
- assisting with completion of activities assessments (as assigned)
- distributing activity calendars to residents
- creating and posting daily activity sheets in the nurses' stations
- ensuring necessary supplies are available for activities
- documenting participation in resident activities
