What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer - Per Diem position at Waverly Heights?
Waverly Heights is currently seeking a per-diem Security Officers to join our team. Waverly's Security Team play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, staff members, and visitors. - patrolling the community premises regularly to deter and detect any suspicious activity, ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and visitors
- monitoring security cameras and alarms, promptly responding to any potential security breaches or emergencies
- enforce community policies and regulations to maintain a secure and orderly environment for residents and guests
- monitoring and control entry and exit points, verifying the identification of visitors and vendors
- ensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards
- positively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concerns
- delivering packages to residents
- following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
- performing other duties to support the effective operations that keep our community safe.
Our per diem security officers are required to work a minimum of three shifts month. Previous related experience is preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
