What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Every Other Weekend position at Waverly Heights?

Waverly's Registered Nurses are leaders who make a difference by fostering a supportive and nurturing environment and delivering high standards of quality care. Daily responsibilities include:
- managing daily care of residents in skilled nursing/personal care
- ensuring delivery of quality services and programs, to meet resident expectations
- effectively communicating with families, medical personnel and other team members as needed
- ensuring required paperwork, records, MDS and reports are accurate and timely
- following procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, HIPPA and infection control requirements
- advocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care team
- collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop plans to ensure best possible outcomes
- following all guidelines related to compliance with regulatory, safety, confidentiality, HIPAA and infection control requirements
- performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare department.
Pennsylvania RN license is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
