What are the responsibilities and job description for the General construction laborer position at Waverly Glass, Inc.?
This is NOT a forklift / heavy equipment / warehouse job!!!
We are looking to hire a responsible adult with a strong worth ethic. Someone who can hustle when needed, enjoys doing something different every day & doesn’t mind getting dirty if the job requires it.
Requirements:
- Must be able to concentrate, learn and retain what you’ve learned
- Show up, be on time, awake and ready to work
- General construction related experience is required
- Must accurately read a tape measure
- Skilled in construction related power & hand tools
- Able to lift heavy objects when needed
- Able to solve problems, anticipate the next step and work independently without handholding
- Must always be presentable, respectful and aware of your surroundings.
- Must have valid TN driver’s license with clean driving history, no criminal background (governmental background checks are required) and be able to pass random drug tests.
We provide company vehicles, tools and everything needed to do your job
Pay depends on your work history and experience; starting rate is between $19 - $21 per hour. the more responsibilities you take on the more you'll get paid!
