What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist - Per Diem - Waveny- INN position at Waveny LifeCare Network?
Requirements:
- Performs receptionist responsibilities including managing the main desk for Waveny LifeCare Network.
- Using sound judgment refers visitors, callers, and others to appropriate individuals and answers questions when applicable following established procedures.
- Maintains staff and residents phone lists.
- Provides administrative support and clerical assistance to all Waveny departments.
- Performs regular administrative duties as determined by office manager including but not limited to preparing weekly dietary menus, weekly recreational calendars, geriatric evaluation appointment scheduling and staff announcements
- Maintains office supplies
- Completes all related admissions clerical support in a timely accurate manner.
- Handles emergency situations assuring sound security and safety procedures.
- Supports, promotes, and projects guest relations and positive images to all visitors, residents, and other Waveny LifeCare Network personnel.
Qualifications:
Requires strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Must be articulate, a good multi-tasker and able to handle interruptions while still getting the job done. Must possess compassion for the geriatric residents and have a warm, cheerful outgoing personality. Must be able to type with accuracy, proof own work, and work independently. Prior clerical and office experience required. Requires a high school degree, college preferred. Able to lift 30 lbs. Computer skills essential.
