Fiberglass - Epoxy/Laminating 2nd Shift

Position Summary: 

Wausau Tile is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our production team as a Fiberglass Epoxy/Laminator. This position involves applying laminations to a mold following the mold lamination processes used in the production of our custom precast concrete products. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and willing to cross-train across departments. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Construct or repair fiberglass molds for concrete production. 

• Cut and apply fiberglass materials, epoxies, and coatings per lamination standards. 

• Ensure uniformity in lamination to achieve consistent product finish and mold integrity. 

• Sand and finish laminated surfaces as necessary for mold or part readiness. 

General Responsibilities: 

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace. 

• Support other production or maintenance tasks as needed. 

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe handling of tools and materials. 

• Engage in cross-training opportunities to support team flexibility and coverage. 

Qualifications: 

• Lamination or fiberglass experience is a plus. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and fabrication drawings. 

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment. 

• Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail. 

• Able to work independently or in a team setting.
