Wausau Homes, Inc. is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and support strategic growth from our Rothschild, Wisconsin location.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a talented accounting team
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities
- Partner with leaders across Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Human Resources
- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP system enhancements
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✔ 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience
✔ 2-3 years of leadership experience
✔ Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
✔ Advanced Excel proficiency
✔ CPA preferred but not required
