Quality Control Production Lab Technician: 12-hr Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Opportunity: Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Purpose

Ensure efficient and accurate lab testing of pressure-sensitive products on our production coaters, meeting all specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies.
• Conduct specific product lab tests following outlined procedures.
• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate Lab Testing Manual.
• Calibrate lab testing equipment routinely.
• Place non-conforming products on HOLD and conduct follow-up tests.
• Retrieve and organize coater retains.
• Support fellow lab technicians, including front lab tasks.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor or Quality Control Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably experienced in the PS and/or paper industry.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Skills and Licensure

• Proven job performance, reliable attendance, and punctuality.
• Computer proficiency; Apex knowledge is a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
