What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Wausau Auctioneers?
Wausau Auctioneers an auction company located in Merrill, WI is seeking a full-time mechanic/parts installer to perform repairs and maintenance to construction and farm equipment in our modern shop.
Applicants must have knowledge and trouble shooting skills of electrical, hydraulic & diesel fuel systems. Applicants must be able to make repairs, install new parts and check fluids on various equipment. Applicants will need to be able to use screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, and other common tools. All tools are provided by the business.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Removing broken and damaged parts from equipment.
- Installing new parts.
-Performing routine equipment maintenance.
-Checking and maintaining fluid levels.
-Battery replacement.
The physical demands of this job require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more. Majority of this work is performed indoors; however occasional outdoor work is required.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
