Marketing & Support Specialist

Wausau Auctioneers is a long‑established Wisconsin auction company specializing in farm, construction, municipal, and consignment auctions. We run both on‑site and off‑site sales and pride ourselves on organized operations, strong customer service, and effective marketing. We’re seeking a detail‑oriented, organized individual to support both marketing and auction operations.
Requirements
- Strong overall computer experience (web platforms, spreadsheets, basic design tools)
- Marketing experience
- Ability to learn auction software platforms
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Auction Operations
- Assist with check‑in/out and clerking
- Manage Excel auction spreadsheets
- Schedule auction‑day services
- Create and maintain auctions on multiple websites
- Prepare auction trailer for off‑site auctions
Marketing
- Build and maintain a marketing schedule
- Coordinate and design print ads
- Create and manage online ads and events (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Maintain marketing binder with contacts and deadlines
General Office Duties
- Data entry
- Verify invoices
- Maintain company website
- Track auction expenses
- Update forms
- Assist with monthly statements
- Help manage mailing lists
- Other duties as assigned
