Human Resources (Internship - Summer 2026)
ROLE:
The HR Intern will play a vital role in documenting HR processes and supporting talent acquisition efforts across our manufacturing sites. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment and exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Process Documentation
- Observe and document HR workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and compliance procedures
- Assist in creating and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for HR-related activities
- Collaborate with HR team members to identify process improvements and standardization opportunities across plants
Talent Acquisition Support
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
- Participate in candidate outreach and engagement efforts, including career fairs and campus events
- Help maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure data accuracy
- Support onboarding activities and new hire orientation logistics
General HR Support
- Contribute to HR reporting and metrics tracking
- Assist with employee file audits and compliance checks
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Interest in manufacturing environments and workforce development
- Be enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2026 semester.
- Minimum of 1 completed year in related field (preferred).
- Be considered a full time student (12 credits or more).
- Be 18 years or older.
