What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Tech Class B (ED-231) (1537) position at WAUKESHA-PEARCE INDUSTRIES LLC?
Scope of Work:
Assist in mechanical assembly of industrial engines, coolers, generators and related components including alignment of equipment to meet WPI packaging standards. Run screwed piping for equipment utilities, install safety shut-downs, guards/shields as required. Training with Class A, Journeyman, etc. in above described duties.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Assist overhauling various compressor frames and cylinders
· Assist in setting and aligning coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities,
install safety shutdowns, assist in aligning engine to compressor
· Follow daily instructions from Leaderman, Journeyman & Class A
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must have 2 year(s) previous experience
· Must High School Diploma or equivalent
· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
· Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift
· Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
