Short Term Writing Instruction Assignment

Waukee CSD is looking for a licensed teacher or current district substitute to provide short-term, individualized writing instruction to a student.

Assignment Details

• Provide 1:1 support in the subject area of writing

• Up to 20 instructional hours available to complete the assignment

• Wednesdays after school are preferred

• Some flexibility may be available on non-student days or occasionally on weekends(typically an hour or so at a time)

• 1–2 hours of paid preparation time per week will be provided

• This is a short-term assignment and will conclude once the required instructional hours are completed

Licensure/Endorsement

Candidates should hold one of the following Iowa endorsements:

• 5–12 English, or

• 5–12 Special Education

Compensation

• Licensed Teacher: $35.00/hour

• Current Waukee CSD Substitute Teacher: $20.63/hour
