FTC Robotics Advisor (district-wide)

Position Criteria:

• Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
• Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Performance Criteria:

• Has an understanding of the teaching-learning process and the necessity of working with the students.
• Knowledgeable about FTC Robotics– goals, purposes, structure, bylaws, educational initiatives, etc.
• Provide leadership development experiences for all members of the team.
• Assist students in developing a meaningful Program of Work and Calendar of Events.
• Oversee all functions of the team such as meetings, practices, competitions, maintain records and financials, fundraising activities, etc.
• Keep administration, local businesses, community, parents, teachers, school staff, and local media informed of activities.
• Keep members informed of activities at the regional, state, and national levels and encourage them to participate in all levels.
• Be committed to each student, welcome the diversity, and be a positive role model in actions and deeds.
• Travel with students to local and national and activities and competitions.
