- Interest In: Small-animal general practice in a full-service, well-established hospital providing care for dogs, cats, and exotics/pocket pets. Clinical interests may include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, routine and advanced soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, pain management, and client education. The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography, supporting efficient, high-quality patient care. Orthopedic cases are supported through a traveling surgeon, with additional access to nearby specialty referral centers when needed.
- Medical Lead / Experienced Veterinarian: We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Lead role, a predominantly clinical position with focused leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine while guiding clinical standards, supporting team alignment, and helping shape the medical direction of a well-established, growing practice.
- Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Work alongside an exceptionally strong support team with an approximate 2.5:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing for efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The team includes multiple certified technicians, with additional team members actively pursuing certification, creating a highly capable and growth-oriented environment.
- Layout & Facility Highlights: Modern, remodeled facility featuring 8 fully equipped exam rooms (including lift tables and a cat-friendly exam space), paperless workflow using AVImark, in-room checkout capabilities, two dental suites allowing for multiple procedures daily, and a well-designed treatment area that supports efficiency and patient comfort. Surgical procedures are performed throughout the week with strong monitoring protocols and a consistent focus on patient safety and pain management.
- Collaborative Leadership Environment: The Medical Lead will partner closely with hospital leadership, Regional Leadership, and the veterinary team to guide medical protocols, case management consistency, and quality of care standards. This is a doctor-first leadership role, focused on influencing medicine and supporting the team clinically not heavy administrative oversight.
- Patient Mix: A diverse and engaging caseload including dogs, cats, and exotic/pocket pets, with a balance of preventative care, medical workups, dentistry, and surgery. The caseload offers both routine and more complex cases, creating a rewarding and well-rounded clinical experience.

- Deliver high-quality, compassionate veterinary care across general practice, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and exotic cases (as interested)
- Independently manage routine, complex, and chronic cases with strong clinical judgment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Lead by example on the floor, modeling excellent medicine, efficiency, and patient care
- Serve as the clinical leader and medical authority within the hospital
- Guide medical standards, protocols, and consistency in case management
- Support doctor alignment and provide clinical input on complex cases
- Partner with leadership on workflow improvements, equipment utilization, and medical best practices
