As the IT Data Engineering Intern, you will be part of a dynamic global IT team dedicated to leveraging data to drive operational excellence across a leading manufacturing organization. This role offers hands-on experience in data management, analytics, and reporting. You will support initiatives that enhance data integrity, enable smarter decision-making, and contribute to the digital transformation of manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various IT systems and manufacturing platforms.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights.
• Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems and databases.
• Participate in data quality audits and contribute to data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document data processes, workflows, and analytics methodologies.
• Contribute to projects involving predictive analytics, performance metrics, and process optimization.

Who You Are

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of data analytics tools and concepts (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, or R).
• Familiarity with database systems and data modeling principles as well as ETL/ELT (Informatica, Fivetran etc.), Cloud Dataware house exposure (Azure, Snowflake, AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curiosity for uncovering trends and patterns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in presenting data-driven insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Passionate about using data to improve business outcomes and drive innovation.
• Demonstrated integrity, respect, and accountability in team interactions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.

The expected salary range for this position is $22 - $26 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
