Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
10% Shift Differential
Watteredge is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Presswelder to join our 2nd Shift Pressweld department. This hands-on manufacturing position involves operating press-welding equipment and producing high-quality copper components.

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate presswelding equipment.
- Read and follow job travelers, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Position and align copper materials and components for welding.
- Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
- Monitor weld quality and inspect completed parts.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
- Perform grinding, finishing, shearing, and other secondary operations as needed.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2 years of manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
- Experience with precision measuring tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Dependable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn Watteredge's presswelding processes.
