Echocardiogram Technologist - Full Time/Varied Shifts
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Cardiologist/Radiologist will perform a variety of Cardiac procedures utilizing ultrasound. The technologist must be able to perform all cardiac echo studies including but not limited to TEE, echo, stress echo. The technologist must be able to work independently and produce high quality studies. The technologist will be responsible for any and all quality improvement /control activities related to this imaging modality.
Education:
- Graduate of an approved school in echo cardiology and vascular sonography.
Experience:
- Minimum one year hospital based echo experience preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS course certified by the American Heart Association required.
- RCS or RDCS (strongly preferred) certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
