CLS II - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Full Time; Varied Shift **TEMPORARY LOA Coverage**
Position Summary: Following procedures established by the Section Heads, laboratory and medical directors, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory, including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA. A CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment, computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills.
Education:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the biological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.
- Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship
Experience:
- As defined by the Professional Unit labor contract.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Valid and current California CLS license or MLT License
Salary : $65 - $91
