Billing Specialist

Job Description and Tasks: The Billing Specialist position is responsible for the accurate billing of orders for each of our companies. Predominantly, this position will invoice direct carried and brokered freight loads. In order to successfully invoice these orders, the individual will be responsible for verifying all necessary paperwork has been obtained and uploaded to each order, order setup and rates are accurate and all associated charges have been recorded. The administrative aspect of the position requires organizational skills and attention to detail for a variety of clerical tasks. In addition, other tasks may be assigned as needed by the company.

Requirements:
Office experience is preferred

Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Competency in MS Office, especially Excel, databases and accounting software
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to perform filing and recordkeeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
Well organized
