Job Summary
Receivers ensure purchased products are carefully and accurately received, stored, and labeled for sale at Watson’s. We are proud of the memorable experience we offer our customers, and this role is key to conveying our passion for garden, home, and life to everyone who visits. This position reports to the locations' Receiving Manager.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Unload and unpack product shipments, inspect them for damages or discrepancies, and report damages and discrepancies to appropriate parties.
- Warehouse products in storage room and maintain storage room organization.
- Stage and move product throughout the receiving area
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous gardening experience or strong plant knowledge.
- Superb communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push and pull racks on wheels of 100 lbs. without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in the weather/elements and in a greenhouse receiving environment (rain, sun, hot, cold)
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Ability to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for 8-hour shifts.
