What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Watson?
We’re Hiring: Part-Time Marketing Coordinator (Roughly 20 hrs/week contract role)
Watson is looking for a marketer to help shape and share our voice with the world.
This is a role for someone who can translate ideas into high-performing content that feels considered, compelling, and culturally aware. From social media to print storytelling, you’ll help bring our work, our thinking, and our point of view to life across channels and marketing touchpoints.
What you’ll do
- Establish a content strategy and content calendar
- Manage and grow Watson’s social media presence across platforms
- Identify opportunities to engage with culture, clients, and community in meaningful ways
- Concept, create, and publish content that reflects the Watson voice (short-form, long-form, visual, editorial)
- Build and and send Watson’s email newsletter
- Manage periodic print mailing campaigns
- Coordinate submissions for design awards
- Create list of publications for PR outreach
- Update CRM and create tracking reports
- Recommend updates to Watson’s martech stack
- Create a monthly Performance & Impact report for Watson’s leadership team
What you bring
- Experience in marketing, social media and content creation
- A strong eye and a strong point of view—on brand, design, culture, and storytelling
- The ability to move between strategy and execution with ease
- Exception writing and visual storytelling skills
- Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms
- An early adopter mindset and willingness to experiment with new technologies
- A natural curiosity and a bias toward ideas that stand out
- Experience in luxury, art, real estate or hospitality is a plus
