Job Summary
As the friendly face and brand ambassador of Watson’s Greenhouse and Nursery,
Nursery Sales Associates support customers with trees and shrubs. We are proud of the high quality, high service shopping experience we offer our customers, and this role is key to conveying our passion for living—garden, home, and life—to everyone who visits.
This role reports to the Nursery and Carryout Lead.
Position Responsibilities
- Guide customers through personalized shopping experiences by understanding their unique goals and needs and recommending solutions.
- Provide superb customer service in line with company values by promptly tending to customer needs and resolving their complaints.
- Conduct inventory of trees and shrubs and maintain their health through proper watering and diagnoses.
- Assist Landscape Designer with work order paperwork.
- Proactively assist co-workers in leaving things better than how they were found.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience.
- Exceptional customer service (friendly and professional demeanor).
- Previous gardening experience or strong plant knowledge required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push and pull racks on wheels of 100 lbs. without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Ability to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for 8-hour shifts.

Salary: $16.28 - $18.00 an hour
