Duties
- Assist with the setup and organization of the workspace to promote efficiency and safety
- Support line activities by preparing materials, handling tools, and ensuring parts are readily available for production tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to assist with assembly, maintenance, or equipment setup
- Use forklift trucks to move tools, finished products, or supplies around the factory floor, following all safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and shop area to uphold a safe working environment
- Support inventory management by tracking supplies and assisting with stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications
- Prior factory or warehouse experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklift equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing setting
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively within a team environment
