Role Summary

What You’ll Be Doing
Keep the building in clean and orderly condition.
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, gathers and empties trash.
Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleaners.
Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs.
Manages inventory of cleaning and cafeteria supplies.
Plant care for facility.
Notifies manager regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
All other duties as requested.
Skills/Experience
Experience of working in a similar role.
Be comfortable and familiar using all common cleaning tools and equipment.
Maintain open, accurate communication with other maintenance employees.
Ability to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
Have high levels of physical and mental vigour.
You are a self-motivated individual.
Be able to work safely and always follow work instructions and safety protocols.
Adept using computers to close work tickets.
Good reading and writing skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
This position offers a salary range of $34919 – $47243. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate’s expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
