Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated mental health team. Duties
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
- Deliver specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and Christian counseling when appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate social work principles, medical terminology, and behavioral health best practices.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to improve service quality and support evidence-based practice advancements.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an LCSW or APRN with a specialization in psychiatric/mental health nursing or as an LPC.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or cognitive-behavioral approaches.
- Strong working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic classification and billing processes.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, trauma-informed care, and substance use disorder treatment including addiction counseling.
- Prior inpatient or outpatient clinic experience is highly preferred; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments and patient care planning effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and ethical integrity.
