What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Watson Hopper?
Our company is looking for a skilled assistant to help support our fast-paced and growing business. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to our staff; including maintaining files, calendars and updating our customer/inventory database. We're looking for an individual who is extremely detail-oriented, well organized, and has exceptional communication skills. This position is currently part time but has potential to be full-time. Benefits come with full-time hours. Experience with CDK software is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- File and track corporate documents and invoices.
- Work on special projects.
- Assist with safety and HR compliance.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages.
- Create reports from data using Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
- Maintain, update, and reconcile databases.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distributes items to appropriate parties.
- Assist GM, Production Manager, and staff with duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen including marijuana.
- Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.
- Strong communication skills, time-management, and customer service skills.
- Driver's License

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
