What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roadway/Dirt Foreman position at Watson Civil Construction?
Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is a premier heavy/highway civil contractor working throughout Florida specializing in large site infrastructure, underground, and road work.
We are seeking a Roadway/Dirt Foreman. The Foreman will directly supervise and coordinate activities of the crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised.
Key Duties
- Directly supervises a crew.
- Reports on work to Superintendent.
- Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.
- Reports on time and materials.
- Monitors the implementation of safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, provides coaching for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
FDOT experience is preferred.
