What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Surveyor position at Watson Civil Construction, Inc.?
We are currently looking to fill a Surveyor position in the Port Charlotte area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Stakeout support at survey construction sites.
- Prepare and analyze data using mapping and construction plans.
- Perform manual labor related to surveying needs, such as cutting brush for lines, carrying stakes, and/or pins and right of way markers delineate features of all phase's construction project.
- Maintain survey equipment (Survey grade GPS, robotic stations, Trimble equipment).
- Gather and maintain as-built information.
- Stock survey vehicles with proper amount of supplies.
- Function as part of a survey team, willing to follow detailed instructions.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have high school diploma.
- Self-motivated. Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Clean driving record.
