Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable full-time Agricultural Equipment Operator to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of farm machinery and equipment used in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and transporting crops. The ideal candidate will have experience with tractors, combines, sprayers, and other specialized agricultural machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate farm equipment such as tractors, planters, harvesters, sprayers, and irrigation systems.
- Transport crops, materials, and equipment using trucks and/or trailers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot machinery during operation to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and part replacements.
- Calibrate machinery for precision planting, fertilizing, and spraying.
- Assist in field preparation, including plowing, tilling, and leveling.
- Record operational data such as crop yield, equipment hours, and maintenance logs.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations.
- Support other farm tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading supplies, cleaning equipment, or maintaining farm infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Two years experience operating agricultural equipment required, five years operator experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of, and previous work experience with, GPS-guided systems and modern farm technology.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to operate in a team environment.
- Physical ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily outdoors and may involve long hours, especially during planting and harvest seasons.
- Exposure to dust, chemicals, loud machinery, and varying weather conditions.
- May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on the agricultural season.

Please note this a full-time, benefits eligible position. Starting rate is $19.00 per hour, however pay rate will depend on experience.
