N&S Supply & Capitol District Supply are hiring for a part time Marketing Assistant with a focus on social media & digital presences. This position has a flexible schedule to be determined with the successful candidate before hire.
The actual schedule is flexible within our business open hours (Monday - Friday; 7am - 5pm) but will be between 20-24 hours/week.
Who are we:
N&S Supply and the brands of Capitol District Supply & Capitol Kitchens & Baths are a wholesale distributor in the plumbing, heating, HVAC, kitchens & baths industries. We work with contractors, builders, mechanicals, remodelers and homeowners- offering tech and training resources, kitchen & bath design services and bath showrooms.
With 11 locations across the Hudson Valley & Capital Region, we have a great internal team to work together for our customers on all aspects.
Position Overview:
This role is primarily responsible for creating content from scratch (graphics/photos/videos), posting and monitoring across key platforms, and contributing to our content calendar. The role also leads the SEO/GEO initiatives, reviews analytics, and assists with website/blog maintenance as needed. Support the Marketing department in all aspects of the company’s marketing and community presence, both online and locally.
What you’ll do
- Manage and execute our social media strategy
- Create and design content (ie: graphics, photos, social posts, and video content) for our brands and customer types.
- Manage social posting and monitoring: respond to comments/messages, moderate, and escalate issues as needed
- Review analytics regularly to accurately report and identify successes and opportunities - suggesting adjustments to our social media strategy accordingly.
- Track performance using GA4 and platform analytics; provide monthly recommendations
- Monitor SEO/GEO performance and strategize ways to improve search results.
- Support content calendar development across 3 brands
- Assist with website updates, changes, and content as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Photoshop proficiency ; InDesign/Illustrator a plus
- Video editing experience (CapCut or equivalent)
- Strong social content creation copywriting skills
- Familiarity with SEO, local SEO, and GEO/AI search optimization
- Experience working with analytics (GA4 and/or platform reporting)

Position Location; Training; & Schedule Details:
- This is an in-person position
- Based out of Albany or Fishkill branches.
- Training will be in the Albany location. Up to 3 months expected.
- Some travel will be required between our locations (in the Hudson Valley & Capital Region) up to 20%.
- The schedule is flexible within our business open hours (Monday - Friday; 7am - 5pm) but will be between 20-24 hours/week.
Expected Pay Range: $23-27/hour
