Inside Sales/Counter Associate

N&S Supply is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for our Danbury, CT location.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist Outside Sales team write up customer quotes and orders. 
• Work with the sales team to gather information, appropriate sales resources, and provide job quote bids.
• Provide Spec sheets and technical information to customers as required.
• Generate new and repeat sales through leads provided via email and phone
• Become educated on the Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products the company sells 
• Determine customer requirements for a job and provide recommendations, product availability, pricing, and quotes to the customers. 
• Assist customers at the Counter by writing up and shipping/scheduling orders. 
• Support the Counter team as an integral part of the team on a part time basis. Including:
  • Writing up and completing walk in orders
  • Taking customers orders over the phone
  • Shipping orders that are being picked up
  • Handling payment as required for orders
  • Be a part of the rotating Saturday schedule

Pay Range for this position is $26-32/hour.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products
• Prior Sales Experience
• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
• Be proficient in basic computer and email skills
• Attention to Detail
• Be a Team Player
• The physical requirements of this position are:
  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time. 
  • Be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Bending 

Salary : $26 - $32
