As one of the foundational members of our Engineering team, you will architect and develop systems for our fast-growing fleet of production robots. We are pragmatic. We value high agency. And, we like to ship fast. This is an opportunity to level up your impact and your growth as an engineer.
Working directly with our founding team, this role is based onsite at our San Francisco headquarters.

The Role

What You’ll Do
- Architect, build and maintain highly-available, robust distributed systems
- Design, implement, test, and debug code across the software stack
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to develop blazingly fast online RL systems at scale
- 4 years of software development experience
- Strong technical foundation and breadth with experience architecting large-scale distributed systems
- In-depth, hands-on development experience building and optimizing across the software stack
- Proficiency programming in Golang, Java, Scala or Python. Rust is a big plus!
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative, problem solving and analysis
- Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to work closely with ML Engineers
