College Ministry Associate

The College Ministry Associate will focus on supporting and engaging with college students within the church and local community. This on-site, full-time role based in Athens, GA includes responsibilities such as facilitating Bible study groups, mentoring and discipling students, planning events and outreach programs, and fostering connections between students and the broader church family. The role also involves supporting communication efforts and collaborating closely with church leadership to execute ministry initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to connect with students and church members
• Experience with planning, organizing, and executing events and ministry programs
• Proficiency in communication, including verbal, written, and using social media platforms to engage with the community
• Leadership and mentoring skills, including the ability to disciple and support college students in their spiritual growth
• A heart for ministry, spiritual maturity, and alignment with the mission and values of Watkinsville First Baptist Church
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such
