About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Watkins Glen Corning KOA Resort as a Recreation and Activities Team Member! You will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests in the beautiful surroundings of Watkins Glen, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead recreational activities for guests of all ages.
- Assist in planning and organizing events and special activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of activity areas.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor guest participation and provide support as needed.
- Promote and encourage participation in resort activities.
- Handle equipment and supplies related to activities responsibly.
- Operate the water slide to include enforcement of slide rules
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in recreation, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed.
- Passion for outdoor activities and guest engagement.
