WATG is hiring an Intern in Architecture for our Atlantic City office.
ROLE
The Intern in Architecture performs architectural assignments to obtain professional experience. The ideal candidate provides essential design and technical support to members of the team and assists with the preparation and updating of project deliverables. The Student Intern will research, develop concept design, prepare documentation, drawings and sketches, and complete general administrative tasks for the Studio.

ROLE
The Intern in Architecture performs architectural assignments to obtain professional experience. The ideal candidate provides essential design and technical support to members of the team and assists with the preparation and updating of project deliverables. The Student Intern will research, develop concept design, prepare documentation, drawings and sketches, and complete general administrative tasks for the Studio.
Responsibilities
- Works on architecture projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team, participating in design charrettes to help define strategic goals for our clients, large or small
- Receives hands-on learning and collaborates with designers, architects, directors, and managers to plan, design, develop, and gain real-world experience working with clients and consultants
- Produces graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and technical drawings
- Builds physical study models and presentation models
- Assists the design team with research
- Utilizes hand-rendering techniques to communicate design concepts
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architecture
- Completed third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to the program post-internship
- Experience using Revit or Rhino required; AutoCAD, and/or BIM modeling software preferred
- 3-D computer rendering skills (SketchUp, 3D Max, and other modeling software)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam
- Hand sketching and physical modeling ability a plus
