We are seeking a Project Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater planning and design. This role will support and lead technical project tasks from planning through construction and work closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Flower Mound, TX. The Project Engineer will oversee project planning and execution, coordinate with stakeholders, perform engineering analyses, and assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, managing project timelines and budgets, and supporting permitting processes. Collaborative teamwork, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving are key components of the role.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience in stormwater planning, H&H modeling, and design
- Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and field coordination
- Proficiency with tools such as HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, or similar
Role Expectations:
- Perform and review H&H analyses
- Prepare technical reports and design documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance to junior engineers/interns
- Support projects from concept through construction
