Job Summary
A Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service during events hosted at the conference center. This role ensures guests receive prompt, courteous service while maintaining a clean and organized event environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, linens, place settings, décor).
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow event timelines and service standards as directed by supervisors.
- Clear tables, remove dishes, and reset areas efficiently during and after events.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and event coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests promptly.
- Handle glassware, dishes, and equipment carefully to prevent breakage.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and room reset.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
