Overview
We are on the lookout for an outgoing and motivated Event Assistant to join our dynamic team In this role, you'll be at the heart of our event process, helping to create memorable experiences for our guests. If you have a knack for connecting with people, a flair for communication, and a passion for hospitality, this is the perfect opportunity for you to shine
Duties
Your day-to-day might include:
- Greeting couples and leading venue tours that showcase everything The Candlewood Inn has to offer
- Assisting Event Coordinators with pre-event details such as floor plans, menu counts, and timelines
- Helping with rehearsals, setup, and day-of logistics to keep everything running smoothly
- Acting as a Bridal Attendant or Event Assistant during weddings — offering personalized service, coordinating with the waitstaff team, and ensuring every guest feels cared for
- Jumping in wherever needed to support our team and deliver an exceptional guest experience
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Background in high-end hospitality and events with hands-on experience in weddings and/or catering.
- Familiarity with banquet-style service and event operations is a plus.
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations.
- Excellent communication skills — you build trust and connection effortlessly with clients and teammates.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to stay calm, focused, and on top of details in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of event contracts is helpful but not required.

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
