Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Waterview Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing advanced rehabilitation and nursing services. As a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appearance of our facility, including painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, staining and finishing wood surfaces, and collaborating with maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure a seamless quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance
- Stain and finish wood surfaces to protect and enhance their appearance
- Apply primer, paint, and finishes as needed
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on walls, ceilings, and trim
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure a seamless quality of care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in painting or a related field
- Ability to work at heights, lift to 50 pounds, and push/pull heavy equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
