What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Food Pantry Coordinator position at Watertown Urban Mission?
Join two amazing organizations as the Mobile Food Pantry Coordinator. The Volunteer Transportation Center and the Watertown Urban Mission are looking for someone to coordinate a new food delivery program. The ideal candidate must have a clean driver's license, be organized, and have the desire to do more in the community. Position is up to 40 hours per week with benefits and paid time off.
Job Duties:
- Distribute marketing materials to low-income / senior housing sites throughout Jefferson County.
•Establish and adhere to a delivery schedule, focused primarily on City of Watertown routes with 3 – 4 hours / week set aside for outlying communities (within Jefferson County).
•Manage incoming inquiries / orders for pantry service.
•Capture and record demographic data for each household member receiving mobile pantry service.
•Prepare and deliver food boxes, ensuring that required Food Bank of CNY documents are signed and returned to the Mission.
•Assist with stocking inventory within the pantry as needed.
