Full-Time Nutrition Services Worker

Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Work Days: 8 hours per day during the school calendar term at the central kitchen in the high school

Reports To: Serving Manager or department supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: To assist the serving manager with set-up, food dispensing, clean-up or other duties as assigned by the serving manager.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Assists the serving manager with preparation as requested
2.   Assists in setting up food line for serving
3.   Assists in putting food portions on the plate as directed by the serving manager.
4.   Assists with general or specific food service area cleanup
5.   Performs other food service duties as assigned

4. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk without fatigue or discomfort. Be able to lift and carry 25 pounds and be able to pull or push 50 pounds.
