Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a love of learning among young children, guiding their development through engaging activities and structured curriculum in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy and overall development.
- Formulate fun, interactive and age appropriate lesson plans following the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold
- Manage classroom behavior to create a positive learning environment.
- Foster relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood (B-5) Education (B-2) or:
- Associate's degree 5 year plan working towards your Bachelor's degree, or
- Child Development Associate (CDA) in preschool with a 5 year plan working towards your Associate's degree
- Strong classroom management skills and experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and curriculum development.
- At least 1 year experience in daycare or private school settings is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
