What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I Educational Assistant (Pending Approval) position at Watertown Elementary?
PENDING BOARD APPROVAL
Qualified applicant must have minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is preferred. A passing score on the ETS ParaPro exam is also acceptable.
The successful candidate will work under the directive of the Title I teacher(s), helping carry out tasks and goals for the students he/she serves.
This is a 180-day position with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by education, experience and placement on Grade 1 or Grade 3 of the Hourly Support Salary Schedule. The starting rate of pay for Grade 1 will be no less than $14.47 per hour and no less than $14.80 per hour for Grade 3.
