Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute service tasks.
- Conduct plumbing and mechanical repairs related to HVAC systems and property maintenance projects.
- Utilize welding skills for equipment repair or modification when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders, and document all repairs performed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all field service activities and operate company vehicles responsibly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC design and installation.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Experience with appliance repair, property maintenance, welding, and equipment repair is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in construction or property maintenance environments.
