JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a dynamic production role requiring involvement in all aspects of product creation. Candidates must be versatile and ready to perform a variety of tasks, including operating forklifts and maintaining required certifications, quality control, unloading/loading trucks, lifting 50-75 lbs bags, working on electronic boards, basic use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems, and other tasks ranging from heavy lifting to detailed, meticulous work. Training will be provided, but the ability to handle diverse and physically demanding tasks is essential.
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks and duties related to the assembly, production, and shipping of our premium drinking water systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comprehensive Assembly: Read, learn, and understand build assembly instructions and other verbal or written guidelines to complete the assembly of products or components, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery and forklift equipment, while maintaining certifications. This role requires continuous physical activity and the ability to lift 50-75 lbs for sustained periods.
- Tool Utilization: Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete the mechanical assembly of components or products, and prepare items for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including labeling, locating parts, and picking parts in specified quantities. Ensure accurate delivery and recording of inventory levels.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct self-inspections and tests on parts and products during or after assembly, ensuring adherence to established quality standards with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow maintenance plans for all equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team committed to continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Cross-Training: Be adaptable and willing to cross-train in other departments as needed.
