Responsibilities
- The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all transportation services for our luxury senior living community.
- This role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of residents to and from requested appointments and/or scheduled activities and functions destinations while maintaining the highest standard of service.
- Ensure safety and compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
- This position oversees the maintenance and operation of our fleet.
- Supervises, hires, trains and mentors staff.
- Provides superior customer service to residents and families.
- Additionally, this position is subject to call backs during emergency conditions.
- Works primarily in an office setting but will also spend time in community vehicles and outdoors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in senior living or a healthcare setting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, CDL preferred.
- Must possess strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills and close monitoring of residents and team members.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation scheduling software.
